LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their All-Region teams on Friday afternoon, and Neumann University's
Emily Ammon was named to the Region V Third Team.
Ammon has been a steady presence behind the plate for all four of her years at Neumann. 2026 was her best statistical season as she hit .366 with six doubles, four triples, 15 runs batted in, and 39 runs scored, which was tops in the Atlantic East Conference. She also led in stolen bases with a Neumann record 40 steals, and she had 20 walks, which tied for the most in the circuit. The senior is the first Knight to steal over 100 bases in her career and is the owner of the most steals in a single game in program history. All of that added up to her second consecutive All-Conference First team selection and this recognition from the NFCA. The first for a Neumann student-athlete since 2019.
Neumann finished the season with a 21-20 record and earned the No. 2 seed in the Atlantic East tournament with a 7-5 conference mark. In the playoffs, they advanced to the championship and were the runners-up.
