CLARK SUMMITS, Pa. – The Neumann College softball team swept Baptist Bible College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Wednesday afternoon. Game scores were 5-4 and 10-1 in six innings.

In game one, Angela Sebasto knocked home the winning run with a double in the top of the seventh inning. Sebasto also had a triple in the game and pitched seven innings, striking out 13, for the win.

Caitlin Hanrahan hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning to put the Knights on the board. The Defenders tied the in the bottom of the fourth. Baptist Bible took a 4-2 lead after five innings.

Jenn Goslin led the top of the sixth off with a solo shot.  Laura Keeley then singles to knock in Shelia Munson to tie the game.

Kimberly Kirkpatrick put the Knights on the board in game two with her first of two homeruns in the second. Kirkpatrick then hit a two-run shot in the third inning as Neumann built its lead to 5-1.

Kirkpatrick had three RBI and Hanrahan knocked in two. Sarah McGann pitched six innings for the win.

The Knights improve to 20-8 overall and 13-1 in the conference. Neumann will host Philadelphia Biblical tomorrow afternoon in CSAC Action. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
