ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Cabrini College, 6-3, in conference match up Tuesday afternoon. The Knights are now 4-2 overall and 3-0 in Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Neumann took all three doubles points. The first doubles team of Ali DeTolla and Maria Evans defeated Alexis DiCamillo and Gabriela Durand, 8-3. The duo of Michelle Steward and Jasper Thomson won, 8-2, over Michelle Lettman and Kourtney Spak at second doubles. The senior team of Allison Trout and Kayla Chamberlain won, 8-3, over Bridget Killen and Melizza Khan at third doubles.

The Knights took the momentum from doubles to singles.  Ravior won 6-1, 6-1 over Spak at fourth doubles. Steward clinched the match for Neumann defeating Killin, 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Gabrielle Porcelli won 6-1, 6-1, over Khan at six singles.

Neumann will return back to the courts Thursday, when they play non-conference opponent Lebanon Valley College. The match is set to start at 3:30pm.
