BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's tennis defeated the College of Notre Dame (Md.), 8-1, Monday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match.

The Knights took 2-of-3 in doubles action before sweeping all of the singles matches.

The duo of Jasper Thomson and Michelle Steward won at second doubles, 8-0. Kayla Chamberlain and Lindsey Ravior won the third doubles match, 8-0.

Ali DeTolla won at first singles, 6-1, 6-1. Thomson then took second doubles, 1-6, 6-4 (10-8). Ravior took third singles, 6-1, 6-0. Steward won fourth singles, 6-1, 6-1. Chamberlain won fifth singles, 6-0, 6-0. Maria Evans won her first collegiate match at sixth singles, 6-0, 6-0.

The Knights improve to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Neumann will host Arcaida University tomorrow. The match is slated to start at 3:45 p.m.
