LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team completed its 2010 season at Philadelphia Biblical University Wednesday afternoon. The Knights fell to the Crimson Eagles, 5-4.

This match was called due to darkness back on September 29. PBU was leading at the time 4-3.

First and second singles completed their matches this afternoon, Jasper Thomson and Michelle Steward.

Steward completed her colligate career with a win over Elizabeth Stafford, 3-5, 7-5, 7-5. Thomson fell to Katelynn Wilson 7-6 (7-1), 7-5.

Gabrielle Procelli won her match at third singles before the match was called due to darkness back on September 29. She defeated Hannah Maddox, 6-1, 6-1.

The Knights picked up two points in doubles action. Thomson and Steward won first doubles, 8-4, over Stafford and Wilson. Nicole Alexopoulos and Jennie Greenlee defeated Meghan Whittingham and Dana Hartman at third singles, 8-1.

Neumann wraps up its season with a record of 5-8 overall and 4-6 in the conference.
