SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated the College of Notre Dame, 7-2, Tuesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Jasper Thomson and Michelle Steward won their first doubles match, 8-3.

The Knights then picked up singles points in the first, second, fourth and fifth slots. Thomson won her match 5-7, 6-2 (10-4). Steward then won at second singles, 6-0, 6-2.      

Nicole Alexopoulos took fourth singles 8-2 and Jennie Greenlee won fifth singles 6-0, 6-1. The Knights took third doubles and sixth singles by default.

Neumann (5-4, 3-2 CSAC) will host Cedar Crest on Friday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m.
