ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Immaculata University, 6-3, Saturday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest.

In doubles play, Jasper Thomson and Michelle Stewart took first doubles by an 8-2 score. At second doubles, Gabrielle Porcelli and Jennie Greenlee won 8-4 as did Khristine Acosta and Mercedes Lopes at third doubles.

The first three singles positions won their spots to give the Knights the 6-3 win. Thomson won first singles, 6-1, 6-0 as did Michelle Steward at second doubles. Porcelli took third singles 6-1, 6-1.

Neumann (2-1, 2-1 CSAC) will travel to Baptist Bible for a conference match on Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
