ROSEMONT, Pa. – Michelle Steward won her match at second doubles Monday evening when the match was resumed after being suspended due to darkness last week. With her win, the Knights picked up the 5-4 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win.
Michelle Steward defeated Rosemont's Karis Coad in the third set tie-breaker. Steward won the first set 6-3 while Coad took the second set 7-5. Play was resumed with the players knotted at 11-all and the senior picked up the 14-12 win.
Gabrielle Porcelli defeated Kayla Coad, 6-2, 6-4, at third singles while Jennie Greenlee won her match at fifth singles, 6-0, 6-0, over Latifah Edwards.
The Knights also picked up points at sixth singles and third doubles by default.
