ASTON, Pa. - In Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Thursday evening, the Neumann University Knights kept Philadelphia Biblical winless in CSAC play by defeating the Crimson Eagles 106-86.

The Crimson Eagles played the Knights tight for most of the first half, keeping the score within 10. PBU got the margin down to two points, 34-32, with 7:44 remaining in the first half before the Knights went on an 8-0 run. Neumann went into the half with a 20 point lead, 64-44.

Neumann never looked back from there as they kept bringing it to the Eagles and not letting their lead drop below 12 points.

Pat O'Connor had a double-double, dropping 19 points and bringing down 10 rebounds. The Knights leading scorer was Marquise Boggs, who netted 28 points and also added four steals and three boards on the night. Mark Blount contributed with 16 points and nine rebounds.

The Crimson Eagles were led by Claude Chalk, who had a double-double dropping 24 points and brought down 11 boards.  Chalk went 4-6 from the 3pt arc. Other Eagles who contributed was Jeff Bishop with 23 points, Freddie Santucci with 11 points and Brett Zamroz with 10 points and Adam Derus with 10 points.

Neumann improves to 6-5 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC. Neumann hosts Rosemont in conference play Saturday afternoon at 3 pm in Mirenda Center.
