ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team tied Salve Regina University 2-2 Saturday evening in the Neumann Holiday Tournament.

Jessica Schroeder scored twice for the Knights, both goals coming in the second period. Kristine Acosta dished out two assists. Shannon Donnelly made 16 saves in net.

The Seahawks scored the only goal in the first period. Schroeder then scored twice in 38 seconds in the second period to give Neumann a 2-1 lead.

Salve Regina netted a power play goal a few minutes later to knot the game at two.

Neumann advances to the Championship game tomorrow after winning 1-0 in a shootout. The Knight s (6-4-2) will face Sacred Heart at 5 p.m. Sacred Heart defeated Cortland St. 8-0 in the first game of the tournament.
