ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team won a nail-biter, 5-4, over Penn State-Berks on Saturday afternoon.
Bre Klar and Susan Staiber set the tone at first doubles, winning 8-4. Gabrielle Porcelli and Teresa Kozin came back from a 7-4 deficit at second doubles to win 9-7.
Kozin continues her hold her own at fourth singles, winning 6-2, 6-2. Klar took her match at first singles, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3). Staiber clinched the match with a three-set win at second singles, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 6-3.
Neumann (6-6) will wrap up its season on Monday when it travels to Marywood for a conference match beginning at 3:30 PM.
