SCRANTON, Pa. - The Neumann University women's tennis team finish their season losing to Marywood University in Colonial States Athletic Conference Monday afternoon.

Breanne Klar won her match 6-1, 6-3 as the number one seed. Susan Staiber finishes her senior season going 6-7 in singles play. The Knights finish their season 6-7 overall and 5-5 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference just missing out on the fourth and final playoff spot.

"This was a great season to build on with the girls. I am happy to see that we were quite competitive this year and it took the last game of the regular season to figure out if we would make the playoffs," stated Coach Chamberlain. "We have such a young group of girls, we look forward to the future, but I'm extremely proud of what they accomplished this year."

Congratulations to the women's tennis team that includes senior Susan Staiber, junior Gabrielle Porcelli, and freshman Cherie Allen, Kat Blaine, Chy Howard, Bre Klar, and Teresa Kozin on a fine season!
