ASTON, Pa.- The Neumann women's tennis team lost 2-7 in a non- conference match this afternoon at the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Courts. The teams competed for 2:25 minutes in an unusually brisk late afternoon.

Bre Klar (fr. Chester Springs, Pa. / Bishop Shanahan) and Gab Porcelli ( jr. Jackson, N.J. / Jackson) won their matches 6-1, 6-4. The result puts Neumann at 2-4 for the Colonial States Athletic Conference and 2-5 overall.

"The match were well contested, as we were in every point and the girls had incredible rally's," said Coach Chamberlain. "The girls seem to gaining confidence and we look forward to all our conference matches this week.'

The Knights visit Cedar Crest College October 5 slated for a 3:30 pm match. This will be followed up with fellow CSAC matches against Immaculate University October 7 and home against Philadelphia Biblical University at 1 pm.
