ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team got back on the winning side with a 7-2 win at Cedar Crest College on Wednesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match.

The Knights started the afternoon by taking two-of-three in doubles. Bre Klar and Susan Staiber won first doubles with ease, 8-2. Gabrielle Porcelli and Teresa Kozin won a hard fought battle at second doubles, 9-8 (8-4).

Neumann then took five-of-six in singles action. Klar won first singles, 6-2, 6-1. Staiber took second singles, 6-0, 6-0. Porcelli (6-2, 6-4) and Kozin (6-1, 6-2) won third and fourth singles, respectively. Cherie Allen rounded out the Knights scoring with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win at sixth singles.

Neumann (3-5, 3-3 CSAC) will compete at Immaculata University on Friday in a CSAC match-up.
