ASTON, Pa.- The Neumann University women's tennis team squeaked out a 5-4 win against Philadelphia Biblical University in a 4:50 marathon event Saturday afternoon.
The Knights split in singles with Bre Klar, Gab Porcelli and Teresa Kozin there matches. Kozin provided the drama, as she was down 0-5 in the third set, only to win in a tie-breaker (7-3).
In doubles, Susan Staiber/Klar and Porcelli/Kozin won their matches 8-4.
“This was a great team victory,” said Coach Chamberlain. “I am so proud of how we approach the matches in such a positive fashion.”
The women's tennis team will host CSAC opponent Baptist Bible College on Tuesday October 11 at 4 pm.
