BUFFALO, N.Y. – Senior Kayla Dubowski scored in overtime to give the Neumann University women's ice hockey team its first win of the season, 2-1, against Buffalo State on Sunday afternoon in ECAC West action.

Neumann got on the board in the first period as Nicole Alexopoulos scored at the 10:49 mark. Dubowski assisted on the goal. Buffalo tied the game on a power play goal just 39 seconds later.

The teams would continue to be tied and force overtime. Unlike last night, Neumann would put the puck in the net in the extra time and come away with the win. Amanda Simpson picked up the assist on Dubkowski's game-winner.

Neumann (1-1-2, 1-1-2 ECAC West) will open its home schedule next weekend when it hosts Rochester Institute of Technology for a pair on Friday and Saturday.
