ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Basketball team defeated Gwynedd Mercy College 87-78 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Wednesday evening.

Neumann led the majority of the game in points beginning at the 11:58 mark of the first half when Mike Walukiewicz hit one of four three-pointers. Neumann held a 41-37 advantage at halftime.

While leading 56-50, the Knights went on an 11 point run half way through the second. Neumann held a double-digit lead until the very end of the game.

Sophomore Mark Blount led the Knights in points with a total of 18. Walukiewicz sat right behind him with 16 points while Gerald Bryant added 15.

Multiple Knights lit up the scoreboard as the team hit 13 three-pointers. Contributions came from Walukiewicz with four, Bryant with three and Patrick O'Connor with two. Terrance Clark and Dom Gibson had one each.  

Neumann improves to 4-2 overall, and 1-1 in the CSAC. The Knights will travel to Marywood University on Saturday for a 3PM start.
