LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Philadelphia Biblical University 79-59 Tuesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Patrick O'Connor scored 18 points for the Knights. Mark Blount grabbed 10 rebounds and had four blocked shots.

Adam Derus had 18 points for the Crimson Eagles. Jeff Bishop added 14 points and three blocks.

Philadelphia Biblical started strong and built up a 12 point lead, 22-10, with 12:19 left in the first half. Neumann started to chip its way back into the game and took the lead, 28-27, with 5:22 remaining on an O'Connor lay-up. The Knights would not relinquish the lead and took a four point advantage, 35-31, into halftime.

Neumann opened the second half 17-8 run to jump out to an 11 point lead. The Knights would keep a double-digit lead for the rest of the game.

Neumann (14-10, 11-6 CSAC) will host Cabrini on Thursday evening in the 2010-11 regular season conclusion. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
