BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's basketball team improved to 10-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) with a 74-47 win at the College of Notre Dame (Md.) Thursday evening.

Kieran and Katie Young each netted 12 points to lead the Knights. Ka. Young also grabbed 11 boards for yet another double-double. Erica Marvel notched 10 points.

India Scott led all players with 20 points for Notre Dame. She added 10 rebounds Cory Santos added 11 points.

It was all Neumann in the first half. The Knights built up a 28 point lead late in the first and held the Gators to just five points in the first 16:30. Neumann held a 40-12 lead at halftime.

The second half was more equal, but the damage had been done in the first. Notre Dame outscored Neumann 35-34 in the second half. The cushion built in the first half was more than enough for the 74-47 win.

Neumann is now 13-6 overall and 10-0 in the conference. Notre Dame is 3-16 and 0-10 in the CSAC. The Knights will host the Griffins of Gwynedd-Mercy College on Saturday as part of a CSAC doubleheader. The women tip-off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 3 p.m.
