GENEVA, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team and No. 15 Hobart College tied 4-4 Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action.
William Lacasse scored two goals for Neumann. Steve Gervais and Michael Rey also lit the lamp. Ross MacKinnon made 25 saves in net.
Hobart stuck first at the 8:47 mark of the first period. Rey would then score on the power play (12:19) to tie the game.
The Statesmen scored three goals in the second period. Gervais notched an unassisted goal at the 10:24 mark. Hobart held a 4-2 lead at the second intermission.
Lacasse got the Knights within one 1:51 into the third period. He would then tie the game at four with 2:52 left in regulation.
Neumann is now 10-7-5 overall and 4-4-1 in the conference. Hobart is 13-6-2 and 3-4-1 in the ECAC West. The Knights will host Utica in its final home games next weekend.
