ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University softball team split a doubleheader with Misericordia University on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action. The Knights won the first game 4-3. The Cougars took game two 6-5.

The bottom of the seventh started as Kelly Goslin hit a double. Kelsey Mazur then came in to pinch-run. Mariah Ripken reached on a Cougar error, which put two runners on and no one out. Perlman came to the plate with Mazur and Ripken still on base and two outs when she hit the ball to right-center to score both runs, unearned, and win the game.
