ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University baseball team fell to Grove City College 5-0 on Sunday morning in a semifinal of the ECAC South Division III Tournament.

Mathieu Vallieres and Joey Armata each had two hits. Russ Gilliam started the game and went 5.2 innings. He allowed five runs, two earned, on eight hits. He struck out six as the sophomore ends the season 9-2. Mike Dicken, Ray Schmoltze, George Hatton and Sean Quigley all pitched in the game as well.

The Wolverines broke open a 0-0 game with three unearned runs in the fifth inning. Grove City then added two runs on a homerun in the sixth en route to the 5-0 win.

Neumann ends the season 28-13 overall.
