BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's basketball team defeated Notre Dame of Maryland University 73-46 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Brittany Wood led three Knights in double-digits with 13 points. Colleen Hinde notched 11 points and Erica Marvel added 10. Eleven different Knights put points on the board in the game. Sami Borcky pulled down 10 boards.

Over a five minute span in the middle of the first half, Neumann took a one point lead, 8-7, and turned it into an 11 point advantage, 21-10. The Knights held a 10 point lead, 34-24, at halftime.

The Knights kept the pressure up the entire second half and led by as many as 31 points, 71-30.

Neumann is now 7-8 overall and 6-1 in the conference. The Knights will travel to Marywood on Wednesday evening for a CSAC contest beginning at 6:00 PM.
