LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action with a 1-0 win at Cairn University on Saturday afternoon.
The Knights and the Highlanders played to a 0-0 mark after the first half with Neumann out shooting Cairn 7-5.
In the second half, the Knights put the pressure on and had 12 shots while holding Cain to none. Francis Kailondo connected on a shot and found the back of the net in the 53rd minute. Mike Attalian assisted on the eventual game-winner.
Tim Glaccum got the start in net for the Knights and made three saves for the shutout.
Neumann (9-4-2, 5-0 CSAC) will travel across town to Swarthmore on Monday afternoon for non-conference action beginning at 5:00 PM.
