IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team blanked Immaculata University 3-0 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Saturday afternoon.
The Knights had three different scorers in the game. Francis Kailondo opened the scoring in the 27th minute. Nick Ranalli assisted on the goal. Neumann took the 1-0 lead into the break.
Neumann wanted to add more goals to the board and in the 67th minute, Caleb Clanton scored off an assist from Andy Attah. For good measures, Michael Frei put a third goal in the back of the net, off an assist from Tyler Kaiser, in the 78th minute.
The defense was solid for the Knights, as they allowed just one Mighty Mac shot and none on goal. Alex Lacko, Dan Chrashewsky, Chace Wasco and Attah were all on top of their game.
Neumann improves to 10-5-3 overall and 6-0-1 in the conference. The Knights travel to Baptist Bible College on Tuesday to start the final regular season week. The game is slated to begin at 3:30 PM.
