ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Rosemont College 8-1in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, the duo of Breanne Klar and Sarah Schroeder won 8-5 in the first flight. Gabrielle Porcelli and Teresa Kozin won 8-3 at second doubles.

Neumann took second through fifth singles. Schroder won second singles 6-4, 6-1. Porcelli won 6-2, 6-3 at third singles. Kozin took fourth singles, 6-4, 6-2 and Cherie Allen won 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles.

Third doubles and sixth singles were awarded to Neumann by default.

Neumann (7-6, 6-2 CSAC) will travel to Penn State-Berks on Tuesday as a make-up from last week. The match is slated to start at 4:00 PM.
