GENEVA, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell 2-1 to No. 6 Hobart College on Friday evening in ECAC West action.

The Knights knew this would be a tough game, as the Statesmen are currently undefeated and ranked No. 6 in the latest USCHO.com poll.

All of the scoring took place in the second period and the three goals would all be scored at even strength.

Hobart got on the board 2:48 into the period. Chris Bournazos tied the game at the 9:02 mark. Jake Kratz assisted on the goal. The Statesmen answered two minutes later with a goal that ended up being the game-winner.

Braely Torris made 34 saves in net. Neumann is now 4-3-1 overall and 2-3 in the conference. The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon with a 4:00 PM start.
