Box Score

GENEVA, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell in overtime 3-2 to No. 6 Hobart College on Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action.

The Statesmen scored 1:44 into the extra session for the win.

Andrew Love put the Knights on the board first with 2:42 left in the first period. D'Lane Sather assisted on the goal. Hobart would score just over a minute later for a tie game heading into the first intermission.

Hobart scored the only goal of the second period, this one on the power play, to take a 2-1 advantage into the second intermission.

This led to the same scenario as the night before, Neumann down 2-1 heading into the final period. This time, the Knights would tie the game on a man-advantage. Dave Gervais, off an assist from Jordan Zalba, tied the game 6:31 into the third period.

In the overtime session, Hobart scored 1:44 in to take the win. Braely Torris made 47 saves in net.

Neumann (4-4-2, 2-4 ECAC West) will travel to Morrisville State College next weekend for non-conference action on Friday and Saturday.
