LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Cairn University, 70-51, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Monday evening.

TaVaune Griffin and Rich Whitten led the Knights with 12 points each. James Robertson added 10 points. Griffin added three blocks as well.

From the first minute of the game, the Knights either led or were at least tied with the Highlanders. It Neumann went on a 10-4 run to close half for largest lead of the game, up to that point, 40-33.

Neumann held a 40-33 lead at the half. The Knights held the Highlanders to just 17 points in the second half for the 70-51 win.

Neumann improves to 2-3 overall and starts off well, 1-0, in CSAC Action. The Knights travel to Gwynedd-Mercy on Wednesday evening for conference action beginning at 8:00 PM.
