ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University Knights baseball team lost 13-10 in non-conference against Lebanon Valley, Tuesday afternoon.

Neumann kept things tight in the first inning, but then Lebanon Valley put the Knights on the hot seat, as they scored seven runs in the second inning.

The Knights earned a run in the third inning to close the seven run margin to six runs. Bill Pace had a sacrifice fly to bring home Daron Moore in the top of the third.

Lebanon Valley added four more runs in the bottom of the third, fourth and fifth innings.

The Knights scored two runs in the fourth and two in the sixth innings and left seven runners.

The Knights would get four runs in the ninth, but it would be enough on the day.

The Knights ran threw a slew of pitchers (five), but JJ Sims would get the loss in three and two thirds innings.

The Knights walked away from the game committing four errors.

Derrek Etsell went 2-5 with 4 RBI's. Moore went 3-4, Matt Grossi and Will Flores went 3-6.

The Knights (16-5) travel to Rowan University tomorrow March 28, first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
