FT. MYERS, Fla. – The Neumann University baseball team swept a doubleheader with Haverford College on Sunday afternoon. Game scores were 4-3 and 6-4.

In the first game, Russ Gilliam went six innings and allowed two runs, one earned while striking out five. Bill Pace went 2-for-3. Derrek Etsell had an RBI double.

Daron Moore scored the game-winning run after moving to third on a fly ball and scoring on an overthrow.

In game two, Matt Spillman picked up the win, going 5.1 innings. He allowed three runs, one earned, and struck out five. Erik Klimoff had the save. Etsell hit a solo homerun. Kevin Flanigan and Pace each went 2-for-4. Joey Armata hit a two run double.

Neumann is now 7-3 overall. The Knights will face Cedarville tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
