BOYERTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University Baseball team won against Gwynedd-Mercy College 5-0 in the Knights first game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships, Friday evening.
After three innings of play, Neumann pitcher Russ Gilliam settled into the game after leaving runners on base each inning. Buddy Elgin hit a single to bring in Matt Grossi. Dave Kalash scored off a throwing error from the catcher to second basemen and Bill Pace hit a single to drive in Elgin.
