ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team had a clean sweep of Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponents Notre Dame of Maryland University 9-0 on Friday afternoon in conference action.

Cherie Allen and Heather Nicholson had an easy time at third doubles, winning 8-0. Teresa Kozin and Gabrielle Porcelli won 8-1 at second doubles. The duo of Breanne Klar and Sarah Schroeder took first doubles 8-3.

Porcelli (third singles) and Nicholson (sixth singles) each took their match 6-0, 6-0. Allen won her fifth singles match 6-1, 6-0. Kozin battled at fourth singles and came away with a 7-5, 6-2 win. Klar (first singles, 8-6) and Schroeder (second singles, 8-2) each took their match in a superset.

The Knights (4-4, 4-1 CSAC) will continue conference action tomorrow when they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy.
