Women's Tennis Gouged By Griffins

GWYNEDD, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team lost to Gwynedd-Mercy College 9-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Saturday afternoon.

The perennial power Griffins gave the Knights too much hassle on the day. The Griffins were selected to finish first in the coaches' preseason poll and they showed why today.

Sarah Schroeder and Cherie Allen posed the most amount of problems, as both made it close losing 6-4, 6-4.

The women's tennis team (4-2 in the CSAC) will travel to Alvernia University Wednesday September 26 for a 4 p.m. start.
