ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell at Eastern University 6-3 on Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.

Neumann picked up one point in doubles action as Jess Demarest and Teresa Kozin won 8-5 in the second slot.

Kozin also took her single match, picking up a 6-2, 6-4 in the fourth slot. Talene Brinker battled at sixth singles and came away with the 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) win.

Neumann (5-5) heads back to conference action with three matches this weekend. The Knights host Gwynedd Mercy on Friday afternoon beginning at 4:00 PM. Neumann travels north for a match mat Marywood on Saturday and Keystone on Sunday.
