ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Gwynedd Mercy University 8-1 on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Griffins opened the match by taking all three doubles matches. The duo of Teresa Kozin and Jess Demarest battled in the second flight, but fell 8-5.

Kozin, who hasn't lost in singles action this week, picked up the lone point for the Knights after being tied at 2-2 at fourth singles, the Griffins player retired.

Neumann (5-6, 3-2 CSAC) stays in CSAC action this weekend as it travels to Marywood tomorrow and Keystone on Sunday.
