LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Keystone College 9-0 on Sunday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The duo of Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder took their match at first doubles, 8-1. At third doubles, Cherie Allen and Talene Brinker also won by an 8-1 score. Jess Demarest and Teresa Kozin won second doubles 8-3.

In the singles action, Kozin (fourth, 6-1, 6-0) and Brinker (sixth, 6-0, 6-1) each dropped just one point en route to the win. Allen took her match at fifth singles, 6-2, 6-1. Demarest won third singles, 6-3, 6-4 and at first singles, Klar won 6-0, 6-4. Schroeder had to battle at second singles, but came away with a 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 win.

Neumann (6-7, 4-3 CSAC) hosts Penn State-Berks on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
