ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team fell to Lebanon Valley College, 87-47, on Friday evening in the Rinso Marquette Tournament.

Jessica Schlesman led the Knights with 14 points. Colleen Hinde added 10. JoHanna Metzger pulled down 13 boards.

With Lebanon Valley leading by two, 8-6, the Dutchmen went on an 11-0 run to take a 19-6 lead. The teams traded baskets for most of the rest of the half. LVC held a lead as large as 19 and held a 17 points lead, 38-21, at the half.

Midway through the second half, Lebanon Valley put the pressure on and continued to build its lead. Neumann could not cut into the deficit and fell, 87-47.

Neumann (0-1) will face either Baruch or Delaware Valley tomorrow in the consolation game beginning at 1:00 PM.
