ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team hosted the Division III ECAC Southeast Championship on Saturday. The Knights defeated Wilkes 3-0 in the semifinal match.

Kelsey D'Imperio led the Knights with 14 kills. Katelin Kuklentz added 10 kills and 11 digs. Julia Malseed anchored the defense with 18 digs while Kat Wolf added 13. Wolf also handed out 39 assists.

The Knights held the pace of the first and second sets, winning both by 25-20 scores

The Colonels didn't go quietly in the third set as the teams kept pace with one another. With the teams tied at 15, Neumann scored five consecutive points to take a 20-15 lead. The Knights would finish the set and match scoring the next five out of six points for a 25-16 win. A kill by Danielle Kwapisz sealed the win.

Neumann will face the winner of the Lebanon Valley/Swarthmore semifinal at 6:00 PM tonight.
