11/21/2013 4:52:00 PM

ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University men's basketball team will host the DIII Coaches vs. Cancer Classic for the third consecutive season on Saturday, November 30th.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide. The program seeks to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living among students, faculty and staff, fans, and the community at large.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer by participating in awareness efforts, advocacy programs, and fundraising activities. Guided by the Coaches vs. Cancer Council, participating coaches help people with cancer today and to find cures to end the disease tomorrow, and have raised more than $87 million to help the American Cancer Society's mission.

The day will consist of six teams playing in three games. Joining Neumann at the Mirenda Center are Rosemont College, Rowan University, Widener University, Cabrini College and Richard Stockton College.

Here is the schedule for November 30th:

2:15 PM Widener vs. Cabrini
4:30 PM Richard Stockton vs. Neumann
