Donnelly and Crew Shut Out Chatham

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Shannon Donnelly and the Neumann University women's ice hockey team shut out Chatham University 3-0 in ECAC West action, Saturday afternoon.

Keira St - Laurent, Ang Gilmour and Megan Russelo each scored a goal and Lynsey Nakamura contributed two assist to help lead the Knights.

St-Laurent and Gilmour scored in the first period to get the Knights rolling with two-first period goals. The goals were scored 6:30 and 11:00 into the first period. Gilmour goal was a short-handed goal.

Russelo found joy tickling the twine, as she scored in the second period and converted on another short-handed opportunity for the Knights.

Donnelly made 14 saves in the game and Neumann shelled out 33 shots. Lindsey Spatola was +3 on the day, along with Gilmour.

The Knights (8-13-1, 5-8 ECAC West) will play Chatham again on Sunday Feb 10 at 1 p.m.
