BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University softball team took a pair of games at Notre Dame University of Maryland in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Tuesday afternoon.
In the first game, Allie White and Becca Reinhart each went 2-for-3 and score two runs. White knocked in two runs while Reinhart had three RBI.
In the middle of a six-run fourth inning, Reinhart hit a bases-clearing single. Allyson Parris allowed just one hit in 5.0 innings and struck out six.
In the second game, White hit an in-the-park two-run homerun. She finished 3-for-4, scoring four runs and knocking in two. Danielle Grayson hit a two-run double in the fourth inning as the Knights plated six runs in the inning.
Lauren Wilkie allowed two hits in 5.0 innings and struck out four.
With a triple in the first inning of the second game, White reached 100 career hits as a sophomore.
Neumann (12-8, 10-0 CSAC) will travel to Baptist Bible on Friday before hosting Cairn on Saturday for conference action.
