 ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University softball team split a pair of games with Widener University on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action. Neumann took game one 6-0 while Widener won the nightcap 3-0.
  
 In the first game, Lauren Wilkie held the Pride to just three hits in 7.0 innings. She struck out three.
  
 Danielle Grayson knocked in the first runs of the afternoon, a two-run single in the third inning. Callie Emel doubled to knock in Allie White in the fifth inning. Becca Reinhart then hit a base-clearing triple in the sixth inning for a 6-0 lead and eventual win.
  
 In game two, Widener scored two runs in the second inning and added an insurance run in the fifth for the 3-0 win. Neumann had the bases loaded in the sixth inning, but could not break the shutout.
  
 Allyson Parris went 2.0 innings and allowed two runs. Kristin Beaty went 5.0 innings, allowing one run and striking out three.
  
 Neumann (25-13) wraps up the regular season this weekend with a conference doubleheader at Marywood University, beginning at 12:00 PM.
