ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell to Rutgers-Camden 8-1 on Friday afternoon in the first match of the 2013 season.

The duo of Teresa Kozin and Sarah Schroeder won the Knights only point of the match at second singles, winning 8-5.

Schroeder battled at second singles, but fell 6-3, 6-6 (7-3). Talene Brinker took her first set at fifth singles 6-3, but fell in the next two 7-5, 6-3.

Neumann (0-1) will travel to Penn State-Brandywine on September 10 beginning at 4:00 PM.
