BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's tennis team started Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action in style with a 9-0 win at Notre Dame of Maryland University on Friday afternoon.

The Knights held the match from the beginning. In doubles action, the duo of Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder won in the first flight, 8-2. Jess Demarest and Teresa Kozin took second doubles 8-3. Cherie Allen and Talene Brinker rounded out doubles action with an 8-0win in the third flight.

Kozin (fourth), Allen (fifth) and Brinker (sixth) all won their singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Demarest won her third singles match 6-2, 6-1. Schroeder took second singles 6-2, 6-3 Klar rounded out the perfect afternoon, winning 7-5, 7-5 at first singles.

Neumann (2-2, 1-0 CSAC) stays south and will face Stevenson tomorrow afternoon in non-conference action beginning at 12:00 PM.
