ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win at Cedar Crest in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Friday afternoon

In doubles action, Jess Demarest and Teresa Kozin won at second doubles 8-2. Cherie Allen and Talene Brinker picked up a win a third doubles 8-4. At first doubles, Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder battled to a 9-7 win.

Klar (first singles), Demarest (third singles) and Brinker (sixth singles) all picked up 6-1, 6-0 wins. Kozin took her match at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-3.

Schroeder battled a little longer at second singles, and came away with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-3 win. Allen rounded out the sweep with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) win at fifth singles.

Neumann (4-3, 2-1 CSAC) returns home tomorrow as it hosts Baptist Bible in CSAC action beginning at 1:00 PM.
