ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Baptist Bible College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights made their way through doubles action with ease. First doubles duo of Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder won 8-1. At second doubles, Teresa Kozin and Jess Demarest won 8-1. Cherie Allen and Talene Brinker took third doubles 8-0.

In singles action, Jenna Blum got her first taste of collegiate action and picked up a 6-1, 6-4 win at sixth singles. Brinker did not give up a set, winning 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth slot. Allen (fourth) and Kozin (third) both won 6-1, 6-1. Demarest took second singles 6-0, 6-1. Rounding out the afternoon at first singles was Schroder with a 2-6, 6-4, 10-3 win.

Neumann (5-3, 3-1 CSAC) heads to Eastern on Thursday for non-conference action beginning at 3:00 PM.
