ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team defeated Centenary College 81-48 on Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Lauren Walker led the Knights with 16 points. Erica Marvel netted 15 points. JoHanna Metzger added 15 rebounds, 13 points and seven blocks. Colleen Hinde notched 11 points. Nicole Fallon pulled down 10 rebounds. Jessica Schlesman handed out eight assists. All nine players contributed at least three points in the win.

The Knights held the pace of the game from the beginning, taking an 18-2 lead five and a half minutes into the contest. The Cyclones could only cut the lead to 11 a few times throughout the game as the Knights held a double-digit lead for the majority of the contest.

Neumann held a 39-24 lead at halftime and continued its dominance in the second half to come away with the 81-48 win.

Neumann (7-6, 4-2 CSAC) will head to Notre Dame on Wednesday for more conference action. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM.
