IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team opened Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) by picking up its first win of the season, 1-0 at Immaculata University.

Jim McDowell scored his first collegiate goal, the only goal of the game, in the 48^th minute. Joe Martinho inbounded the ball on a corner kick. While the ball bounced around in front of the net, Evan Fahey was able to tip the ball the McDowell, who put it in the back of the net.

The Knights outshot the Mighty Macs 23-5 in the game and 11-2 on goal. Dan Jones made the two saves needed for the win.

Neumann (1-7-1, 1-0 CSAC) started October out on the right foot. The Knights will continue the winning ways on Saturday when they travel to Cairn for more CSAC action beginning at 3:00 PM.
