ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win against Keystone College on Wednesday afternoon.

The Knights were finally able to play on their home court, and took full advantage of it. After being rained out earlier in September, Neumann and Keystone was able to get on the courts on a sunny, beautiful afternoon.

Neumann wasted no time, taking all three doubles matches 8-3. The pairings were Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder at firs doubles, Cherie Allen and Teresa Kozin at second doubles and Talene Brinker and Justice Mallard at third doubles.

Klar kept up her pace at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-0, as did Kozin in the fifth singles flight. Brinker (second) and Schroeder (third) each took their singles match 6-1, 6-1. Allen won her match at fourth singles 6-0, 6-3. Wrapping up the perfect afternoon with an 8-2 win at sixth singles was Mallard.

Neumann (6-3, 4-1 CSAC) heads to tough Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday afternoon for a key CSAC match. Action gets underway at 1:00 PM.
